6. How should I warm corn tortillas up? Corn tortillas are better when they are steamed however this is not always the most practical way so we recommend you to put them on a hotplate, frying pan or crepe maker and warm both sides up until the tortilla gets soft and you are able to roll it without breaking it, you can use a little bit of oil if necessary. You can also use a microwave, just wrap your tortillas in a tea towel and heat them up for 30 to 90 seconds (depending on the amount of tortillas). The steam created by the tortilla will make it soft and rollable. |
7. How should I warm flour tortillas up? Place your tortilla on a hotplate, frying pan or crepe maker and warm both sides up until the tortilla gets soft and flexible, most of the times your tortilla will bubble, this is perfectly fine. |
